Important Notice

1) The new CBSE academic year (2020-21) of our school began in April 2020. However, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, our school could not reopen. Since then, the school has been conducting online classes as per the syllabus from Nursery right up to Class X.

2) As per the instructions given by the Government of Maharashtra Education and Sports Department Mumbai, our school is conducting:
● Two daily 30-minute sending of Audio-Video clips from Nursery to Class II.
● Two daily 40-minute online classes for Classes III to V.
● Three daily 40-minute online classes for Classes VI to X.

3) The school has conducted pre-mid exams and Mid-term exams, online for all classes from Jr. Kg up to Class X, offline classes for 1 x 2 x from 23rd Jan. 2021 and classes V to VIII from 27th Jan. 2021 whereas online classes for III, IV and Audio-Video clips for Nursery to Class II. Post mid and Annual exams conducted and Results declared.

4) New academic year 2021-22 began online since 6th April 2021 for all classes.

Academic Annual Report – 2019-20


Shriram Academy has attained commendable appreciation in scholastic and co-scholastic areas, including sports and games. Our students are motivated to take part and perform at their level of excellence and to groom themselves to be confident and articulate individuals.

Extra attention to slower students:

Not all fingers on your hand are the same and the same rule applies to students. We understand that some students need more development than others. At Shriram Academy, we have remedial classes for weaker students. These include additional classes that will help them with reading, writing, spelling, narration, learning, making conversation and even some harder subjects, like mathematics.

Special Feature:

We have no school bag or homework up to Class II. We believe that this is a critical period in your child’s development where they should learn to enjoy learning. Hence, we dedicate all our attention towards helping your child progress to the best of their ability during this crucial stage in their life

School-day:

Our school day begins with an assembly organized and conducted by the students in four different languages – English, Hindi, Marathi and Sanskrit. This includes a school prayer, pledge, preamble, thought for the day, news, interesting facts, day celebration, and national anthem, which is then followed by teaching.

Activities:

Extra-curricular activities contribute to your child’s overall well-being, thereby making them well-rounded individuals. To keep our students encouraged and motivated we organise various competitions and activities every month. These include English and Hindi elocution, Marathi katha kathan, debate competitions, finger-designing, collage-making, cotton painting, fancy dress, singing rhymes, spellathon, story-telling, heath week, memory games, card-making, mask-masking, origami, clay-work, poster and slogan competitions, and display board activity.

Inter-school competitions:

The top students from our school are encouraged to compete in inter-school competitions like the Olympiads, Cyber, Maths, Science & English, Dr. Homi Bhabha & Dr. C V Raman Science Exams. Artistically-inclined students are trained to appear for the elementary and intermediate drawing exams.

Awards and accolades:

Our students had participated in the National-level colouring, handwriting, collage, cartoon and greeting cards competition held by ‘Rangotsav Celebration – An Organization for National Level Art Competition’ held in Mumbai where we won the following:

1 - National Silver First award
49 - Gold medals
16 - Art Merit trophies and many other consolation prizes.

Our student Ms Prerana Dudhale won the Silver Medal at the
65th National Under-14 Girls Volleyball tournament 2019-20
held at Nellore in Andhra Pradesh.
